How does CVS verification work?+
A trained community verifier meets you to confirm your ID, address and occupation. Verification is renewed every 6 months and unlocks borrowing & higher trust on listings.
What is the deposit?+
Default deposit is 4× the daily rental rate, held securely until a successful return. Categories with higher risk may require higher deposits.
What happens if an item is damaged?+
Both sides record condition with photos at pickup and return. Disputes are reviewed by Rent Rocket within 48 hours, with damage fees deducted from the deposit.
Is insurance included?+
Deposit protection is built in. Optional partner insurance for high-value items will be rolled out soon.
